a pink dress may keep you warm, but are you going to wear it? maybe if it was the only thing you had to wear and you were stranded in the antarctic. but you're not, and there are better clothes to choose from.

You see though, this car IS stranded in the antarctic. It isn't running around in suburbia, it is running in the most hostile place a vehicle can be used. Now if it were on the street where that pink dress of a rear wing would just be a fashion choice, sure, rice, but when that pink dress (wing) keeps you alive, (helps you win the race) while all others without them die, (lose the race) I'd sure wear one.

That's the analogy I see between the vehicle race and the human race.
