Made it to Tim's dyno session today. With my new 42lb injectors and 80mm Pro-M MAF, the verdict is:

425rwhp/404rwtq @ 11psi

The curve is great, with peak power maintained from 5000rpm until redline, almost flat. A/F is a flat line at 11.5 across the board until the Steeda pumps start to give out around 6000rpm. This is WITHOUT an intercooler.

Tim did a great job with the tune, and there's a lot more in the car. The above numbers were only with 16 degrees timing; for comparison the base Steeda tune has 20 degrees. With more timing and better fuel pumps (and a built shortblock!) I'd have seen 450rwhp for sure.

This is about as far as I can take this car in power until I can afford a new shortbock. That will have to be down the road a ways, since I'm involved in a divorce at the moment. Hopefully the stock block will keep truckin' until I can afford to replace it.

For those wondering about cams, the HP Billet cams are now "officially" worth at LEAST 47rwhp/31rwtq. They're actually worth more (probably 60/40), but I don't have the fuel system or the shortblock to find out, lol.

Yet another for Tim & the T&J Team!

You can live in GA and still be a haul from that shop. I'm in Augusta, and I can't find time to get over there...

I live in North Carolina and have made an appt. to be there on Feb. 7th. Can't wait for the tune. I am at 311 rwhp now, just imagine with a tune!

Congrats man, those numbers look outstanding. I wish I would have gone with bigger injectors and MAF. The standard steeda stuff runs out of steam over 400 looks like.

Sounds like a great time down there.

I don't understand why you arre still using an 80mm MAF
I assume the ProM can handle more airflow? I figured at your power you'd be loooking at a 90. How much more power is the ProM 80 good for over the Steeda 80?
Hope I'm not swaying the thread, but I think its important for those that want to take the steeda kit to the next level.

Yeah, the Steeda stuff really isn't meant for more than 400rwhp. My Steeda pumps are running out of juice now, so if I do anything else I'll need new pumps.

If you do that you'll smoke my numbers, because of your intercooler. I'll probably lose 30-50rwhp when it gets hot ans sticky too. I'm hoping to swing a cooler or water injection before the race season starts up in the spring.

The MAF that comes with the Steeda tune is the old 800mm Lightning MAF. It pegs around 400rwhp. The Pro-M is a better design, and can meter air over 500rwhp, according to Tim. He says the 80mm Pro-M is better than the 90mm LMAF. Also, the Pro-M is calibrated for 42lb injectors, so it takes less work to get the tune right. I asked him the same questions.
