More progress done on my Engine bay.

Put another five hours into my engine bay today. I have about 15 hours into it already. One more saturday of welding and the welding will be finished and the mud will start slingin. I'm real happy with how its coming along. Here are the pics from what I started with to how it is today.

Cant wait til the paint flies so I can start pulling the motor out of my 89 and transplant it into this beast.

yea it really is. I've been waiting so damn long to do this kinda stuff to my car. Now that Im out of college I have time (and money and a daily driver) on weekends to get into serious projects. I just filed my taxes and all 1200 bucks Im gettin back is going right to this thing! I just want to drive it already!

I noticed that the back of the headlight opening was welded up... nice touch btw

was that something you remember seeing when you and you friend picked up that Red GT from 1wildride ( Mark) a few years ago?

Yea pretty much, funny thing about that car is that I see it all the time now. When I cracked up my 89, I bought the bumper support, fog light brackets, fog lights and both fenders off of it when he parted it out. My buddy ended up deciding he wanted that shell and swapped the parts off his beat 87 onto that car. I ended up finishing smoothing the engine bay (or at least tried to, I was 17). The car still wears that red paint and has all kinda miss matched parts. 25thMustang actually saw that car down in Myrtle Beach for Mustang Week last summer. Small world huh?

And for Mustang Week this year, I dont think Im going. I'm just going to save the money and dump it into the car in order to have a really nice car for MB 2009. Thanks for the comments guys, Im really proud of her.

So I'm ditching my 4 lug 03 Cobras and getting the Stern Replicas, but I dont think Im going to get the deep dishes. Im gonna do 17x8's in the front and 17x9's in the back. What do yall think?

The 9s have a small lip, but the 10s look much better. I say 17x8 and 17x10s would look best!
