Im trying to decide a route to go and Im looking for a little advice on a supercharger. I really like the whipple ho system but am a little worried about the longevity of the engine. Also, what psi is the kit? It says 10 in one paragraph then 8 in another. I am debating wether to go with this kit or a magnacharger which runs at 6psi and would be a little safer.

Kenne Bell brother....The superchargers Psi is usually based on the size of the pulley. the smaller the pulley the faster it spins the higher the Psi, you can literally "tune" any supercharger to whichever Psi you want...just my two cents.....I have been studying all of the roots style superchargers and the KB seems to come on top all of the time. As far as longevity is concerned, the obvious assumption of less Psi will make the motor last longer is absolutely correct. 6 Psi is a safe and modrate amount of boost on a stock blower. I am goign to do the same. When my motor finally gives out I will build the botom end and give it a smaller pulley. This is all relative to which ever blower you choose. Either way let us know how it goes and hapy modding.....:D

Nah, luckily I held off putting them in because I thought I was going to do the supercharger eventually. It will probably be done by the end of july cause im waiting till after my vacation to put it on.
