Moronic, Power Chip Question.

hey guys I realize this is really lame but answer it anyway if you have real experience with power chips.

1- rock stock, '95 5.0 5spd vert, this one is going to stay stock except for a cat back of some sort.

2- if a guy plugs one in with no mods is there really a gain you feel while driving????

A chip is not worth the money on a stock 5.0. Just run premium and advance your timing to 14 degrees. This will acheive most of the gain that a chip would provide that car.

I know this seems like a no-brainer, but alott of people seem to overlook it, so....

- change the fuel filter (its tween the tank and the rear axle)
- new cap/rotor/wires/plugs
- run a couple bottles of good fuel injector cleaner, or take it to a shop to get them cleaned
- clean air filter
- good ground straps on the engine/body/etc...
- as above 92 + 14 degrees
