Motive or FRPP?

Why should I spend the extra $$ on FRPP gears over the Motives? or are Pro 5.0's an option?

also... I need to be sold on 4.10s...

my driving is 99.99999% highway at about 80mph... and I plan on a KB in the future.

also... wont I be trapping in 5th gear in the 1/4 with 4.10's ?

3.73's or 4.10's ?

Yes, spend a little more on the FRPP ring and pinion set. Cheap insurance.
If you plan to KB down the road and don't wish to chg gears then, I'd opt for the 3.73s. Otherwise, I'd definately go with 4.10s, without a doubt. You'd still be able to trap in 4th gear.
I've got both gear sets and wish I'd of listen to my head instead of my tuner. He said 3.73s are best on the street. Yeah, they are good, but 4.10s are perfect. The 80MPH driving you talked about wouldn't be much of an issue. Push it up into 5th and cruise.

Can't go wrong on both. I have had my motives on for over 100000 miles and they are still perfect. There was a big thread on this a while back not sure if it got erased or not.

Either one will work great for you as long as they are installed correctly

Been using FRPP and SVO for years and have never had a failure. AND do not fear the gear!

Extra money?

I see FRPP 4.10's for as low as $159.95 a lot. Check the mags closely as someone just had 3.73's for $139 and 4.10's for $159

I don't see a problem with going with gears other then the FRPP units. IF you plan on going with a KB in the future, I suggest not going too steep. limit it to 3.55's or 3.73's at most.

I have motives, there is nothing wrong with them.

They back cut a little also, so the gears aren't quite as heavy.

I always heard FRPP was the best so I just went with them when I got some gears like 2 years ago but I guess prices went up since then because at the time I got my FRPP 4.10s for like $125.

Motives are quieter......IMO equal to or better than FRPP....Depends on how you look at...Its a FORD rear end, Ford parts "will" fit with no problem.....

FRPPs are easy to install so if you are doing it yourself...
