Motor mounts question

Need a set of motor mounts for my 90. I was searching through different posts on different forums and they are all from a long time ago. Mixed reviews some like solid others poly, but mostly it seems people like the fox convertible mounts. Just want to know if that's still a good route to go? What about the heavy duty kit from cj pony parts, are they similar to the convertible ones?

I'm still rocking my solid mounts from twelve years ago.
I daily my stang and love the way they make me feel more connected to my ride.
Best feature is that there' s nothing to wear out.

I run stock motor mounts and have for years. There is only one design now and it's the "convertible" style so anything you get from a parts store will be those. I believe the ones I currently have on the car were from OReillys and are Anchor brand. The 331 in the Coupe puts out about 460 fwhp and I have zero issues. I do run a urethane transmission mount and urethane transmission crossmember bushings so they do help.

SVE just released their redesigned poly mounts that are supposed to be more durable.

I have prothane (or energy suspension?) poly mounts ready to go on, supposedly whatever ones I bought keep the motor lower like the convertible mounts do.

I have Prothane mounts. As far as I know, they are the lowest poly mounts available, which is why I bought them. NVH isn't bad. I also have the Prothane transmission mount.

I've been running energy suspension motor/trans/trans x-member for years. NVH is marginally worse than the rubber mounts, small price to pay for how much tighter/well connected everything feels.

According to a few places, there is only one manufacturer making rubber mounts. They are sold under many names but typically they are known as the Anchor mounts and you can find them on RockAuto for something like $5 a mount if that tells you anything.

As for poly mounts there are a few vendors. When i did my car i bought both the Prothane and Energy Suspension mounts. The Prothane ones were modeled after the 1987-1990 coupe mounts, and the energy suspension ones were the later 91+ "convertible" style mounts. I ended up returning the prothane and running the ES ones. They were noticeably different in height.

SVE has new poly mounts but I have no experience on them or know which style they are

If they are the " made in India" mounts Run Forest Run away from them..... Pretty sure they are made with whale blubber....

$5 shocked me so I Just checked and the Anchor's are roughly $16 on rockauto but that is still cheap. I run the Energy Suspension mounts on the T-Bird as I needed the motor moved up a little so the Canton road race pan would clear the rack and pinion. I have a Griggs k-member and used MM's rack mounts on the lowest setting. It is nice that there are ways to tweak all of this.

They used to be $5 back during covid when i was putting my car together. I bought a set from RA and tried to install them and one side wouldn't even bolt to the block. The bolt holes were not drilled properly. The $7.50 SKP mount looks exactly the same. Probably is.

Wasn't even worth the RMA for those as shipping was more than the amount back. Not sure where they are now but might have tossed them in a box for a Marketplace giveaway or something

I've had bad luck getting Anchor Mounts that fit correctly. I have always used the Energy Suspension ones.

Which solid mounts are you using, and are they the same height as the convertible mounts? MM states "you'll need to be toward the far end of the hardcore scale to tolerate the increased NVH." No idea who makes their solid mounts.

I believe they are from blue oval industries, and I've daily driven them (150miles/day) without any real noticeable noise or vibrations.
They do sit lower then my original ones.
