well my engine sits kid of crooked and i think it's because i only had one of the motor mounts replaced on my car and i dont think they used the right one (non-conv.). how hard is it to install new motor mounts by yourself. can it be done with a jack and 2 jack stands?

Yeah you can just use a piece of wood ontop of your floor jack under the oil pan. Make sure and use a large piece of wood that distributes the weight across the whole bottom of the oil pan. I just used a small piece of 2x4 and have a nice dent in my oil pan from it :bang: .

i pulled the fan shroud before starting. try a search - i know there are some real good threads out there. Jrichker has posted info with bolt specs and all that too. i did a write up on a thread i started about it, where i outlined how i did it, but i cant find the thread. if you come across the thread, read my last post - i wrote up what worked for me.
get some vert or poly mounts. the vert mounts are heavier duty (interlocking) than hardtop mounts- and on a vert, necessary. they became standard for HB's, etc by 93, IIRC. poly is real nice, but 3 X the price of LLT oem replacements.

good luck.

oh yeah, i think one jack and two stands should do it. and it is not too hard, as long as you have decent socket selection and some extensions and U joints (wobbles).

takes an hour or two (one of those things where the next time would take 20 mins, since you know the ins and outs). good luck.
