I'm needing some advice on motor mounts. I have a '65 fastback that I'm working on. Currently I need everything-- including the frame mounts. I'm running a stroked 289 and I want to run a decent set of headers, and I heard somewhere that I need the 1966 mounts to gain clearance for the headers?? At any rate, I'm needing help sorting out what I need and don't need. Thank you for your help.

This is a mount for a early Ford Mustang/Falcon '64-'65. They hold the motor lower than the '66 mount by about 1". This is all we use. From what I have found, the lower the motor sits, the more room you get for headers. This mount has a retaining bolt installed to keep it from coming apart.
