motor mounts

I have a 98GT and Im having SLP LT's put on so while the engine is out i figured id have new motor mounts put in. I just wanted to make sure theres only 2 mm's for my car. do u think i need tranny mounts also??, although it might cost a little more, i dont know if it would be worth it or not. If you had a company prefrence thatd be cool too, im prob gonna get upgrades anyway instead of the stock replacements.

Go with Urethane motor mounts, and yes there are only 2 of them.

The trans. mount can be done anything, it's not really that big of a deal to replace.

Polyurithanes will give you alot more feed back. I just installed a poly tranny mount and i get vibrations @ 36-42mph under a load. It almost feels like i threw in a solid mount. But its true that they are way stiffer and last longer than rubber. But if you have a girl friend that complains about a smoothe ride, id replace them with rubber.

I too am a fan of poly anything, but you do compromise some of the vibration absorption characteristics of regular rubber.

I have poly mounts and I like them. Tranny mount is real easy to replace. I would reccomend poly mounts. A little more engine vibration and movement but they are nice.
