Ive never actually replaced a motor mount on a car before so is there any specific way besides just jackin up the motor and replacing it. Oh and where to put the jack on the motor at?

its pretty easy. raise motor, remove and replace. place the jack under the oil pan. use a block of wood inbetween the jack and the pan.

I use a jack under the bell as well to help take weight off the pan/pan gasket.

Watch your clearances up top as you jack the motor up.

What kind of replacement is recommended? The original Ford piece, or is there something else? I don't want a solid or poly mount, just replacement type-

Some Ford mounts for a 1993 would be my choice. By 93, all of the mounts were of the captured variety.
Places like PPI might be a decent source for OEM mounts.
