Hello all, I'm looking for some build advice on what to do with my rebuild. 2000 GT Vert Stock motor with a tad over 140k on her, never had a mechanical problem aside from an ejected spark plug. Had the pan dropped the other day and internally she still looks clean and beautiful and I suspect I could run clear to 200k maintaining the engine as I do, however, I just want a bit more power so I'm looking to have her rebuilt.
My tranny does require rebuilding and I just got a quote for $1800-2100 depending on the options, some advice on where to go with that would be appreciated as well. (4R70W)
That being said after the trans rebuild I'll have roughly $3k to spend on the motor. I'm not looking at forced induction just yet, would like to get a NA motor thats tank solid well before I start thinking about adding power to it.
