Yep the dreaded vibration issue....
Ok, history, new build, less then a year, has less then 10 hours on the motor so far. 302 bored .30 over, 10 to 1 comp, mild cam (just lopey), Edelbrock heads.
From idle to about 1600 rpm everythings cool, then it starts vibrating a little, gets a liitle worse up to about 22oo rpm, then gets better, and stops at 2500 to 2600 rpm and smooths out again. It does it sitting still or driving, under a load doesn`t seem to make it better or worse.
It may have done this since first start up, not really sure, dont have many miles on it yet. The harmonic balancer and flywheel are both new 28 oz each, its old block, like 78 model with 2 peice rear mains.
One thing, I used like grade 8 nuts on the torque convertor studs where they go thru the flywheel, I saw a car show on tv that said dont do that.....
