So i need to do my timing (finding tdc) but i also need to set my idle, tps voltage, and adjust my fuel pressure regulator. Should i do my timing first? then what after, and so on?
From what i searched online, to get tdc on the number 1 cylinder (compression stroke), am i right to pull the #1 plug, then from what i saw online, use a compression hose minus the valve stem (so its just a simple hose), thread it into the spark plug hole and strap a balloon to the other end to find the compression stroke (since motor is in car and valve covers are installed so i cant see the rockers) while turning the crankshaft 15/16 bolt clockwise? and then after discovering the compression stroke, use a tdc indicator tool (plunger style) to find the highest point the piston rotates to...in a way, eyeballing it i guess.
while doing that when do i bring the pointer on the balancer to tdc (0 or 10 degrees??) and the rotor pointing to the number 1 plug wire? if it seems like im confused on the order, i am lol. any input on this is appreciated.
