On my 03 I need to hide the Amp and Cap. I was thinking of usinf alchohol to clean under the seat good, and then using 3M tape for the Amp and also 3M on the Cap bracket.

Any reason this is a bad idea?

Other idea I had was super glueing wooden rails to the underseat panel and then screwing the hardware into that.

Main 2 things are that I'd prefer not to drill into the body panels and that the equipment is out of site... (I need to get it out of site or the shipper will make me remove it when I send the car over seas since it's aftermarket stereo)

I dont know if there is enough room under the seat. You could alway do what I did and make a fake wall in the trunk and install the amps between the wall and the rear seat. It works good because you cant see anything but you can work on them from the back seat while they are down.

I didnt know what you meant by RSD, Thanks for the schooling. That sounds good. I dont know what kind of amp you have just make sure there is enough ventilation.

There's a lot of room. I think I'm more concerned if the 3m method will work or if the wooden rails is a better idea.

I think either way would hold. I have a small JBL AMP... The cap is bigger than the amp.

Ok I tried the 3M way today... No Go. It's temp mounted with the tape for now but I'm definately going to fab some wooden rails and do it correct and SECURE.

Problem is everything is so uneven under the seats so you can't get a flush seat with the tape.

there should be enough room, however, I doubt you will have the proper ventilation. So what you'll want to do is find a place that sells some decent small cooling fans, make a little housing that goes around the amp, and put 2 cooling fans on each end, and that way you will have the proper ventilation and keep it from overloading.
