I just moved to LI from NJ, and have another year on my NJ safety and emissions inspection sticker. I already registered my mustang in NY, received the plates and registration, but have not inspected it in NY yet. I read somewhere online that I should be ok with keeping my NJ sticker on the car until it expires. Does anyone know what the NY requirement is? Am I required to get it inspected in NY or can I just keep the NJ sticker until it expires?
