Don't , buy the right radiator, if you move the goosenecks so they are both on the same side without an interior baffle to reroute the flow it will have a tendency to only use half the radiator. Not a great idea.

Thats the whole point. The Current RAD has the lower outlet and the upper intake on the passenger (SAME!) side! I got a rad with the outlet moved to the bottom driver side (so they would be on different sides). I was told I just get a 70 302 water pump and that that would move it, is this correct?

If the radiator was made with the goosenecks on the same side it should have a baffle in it to direct the water to the other side. So it should be fine.

As for the water pump, you can change it but all your front brackets will be wrong, P/S, Alt.

Worth is correct, I did what you are doing right now and while it works and keeps the car cool, the bracketry is all screwed up. Also, its real difficult to time the car because the timing pointer is covered by the hose on the new water pump.

I went to autozone and got one for a 72 302 mustang. My radiator has the top gooseneck on the pass. side and lower gooseneck on driver side.

Why not swap the upper instead? Then all you need is a new hose.

Check out mine, nice and easy and works great.
