Yea i live down in texas city, about 30 mins south of downtown houston. There is a big car show every saturday night in kemah that a lot of people go to, i go every now and then. Some local forums are Texas Mustang Forums | LoneStarStangs and westsidemustangs....also houston performance driving....

Houston is a fun place to live, lots of nice cars, plenty of shows to go to and of course baytown raceway is great on friday and sunday when they have the street nights

UTI north houston? dude I live less than three mins from there......and yes there are some nice mustang meets on fridays about ten minutes from the school!!! let me know whats up via PM or something....

I used to live about 500 yards from the campus though now live out here in the sticks

There are quite a few meets that go on during the weekends and even meets during the week. We need to schedule us a HRP Stangnet meet like we have in the past. The little NPI might surprise some of you

I used to live in H-town when I was young,still got family there,but I try to stay away like its the plague...,That place is too big and too much traffic for me.I would be careful of areas to live in and ares to leave your car.My uncle has lived there all his life and always has nice muscle/show cars and has had many stolen and broken into.You just gotta be smart about where its parked.

Hell he used to have a primered 85 chevy truck that he used to pull his 66-67 chevelle race/show car,that truck was ugly and it was stolen and recovered 3x's,4th time it was never found.But also never really live in all that great of areas since he was single and spent most of his cash on his cars...

cool, ya cause here in Alabama theirs hardly any good car shows and no real good concerts nothing but their is a pretty sweet beach though.

There is almost always a good concert there.I saw Metallica yrs ago at the Baytown Drag strip.Plus since ZZ top lives there they are alway playing at the Houston Rodeo.I know there used to be alot of car shows there,my uncle was always in them,but he doesnt have a built car right now.

yeah I do, what u post on? and yes I do somewhat wish the seats/my interior was black. But that will ALL change once I find me some 03 Cobra black/grey seats, or lay down some cash for some corbeus in the same finish, but I want the cobras to have matching fronts and reas.

I browse all of the local sites and even post on houston-imports OFTEN.

Even though the weather is rather warm, we could meet up on a Friday night or Sunday evening at Houston Raceway in Baytown. Fridays hours are 6 to Midnight

cool, yeah I post on H-i as well, I hate that forum though cause the kunts that run it, have their little leghumpers and so people get banned for some retarted reasons. I am all for order, but the mods on there are retarted, IONO maybe is just me.

But, fridays nights is the 2920 Northside meet. SOME SICK WHIPS show up man!

I don't do the car meets during the summer--too hot . I'll go look at parked cars at a dealership rather than a parking lot with the idiots doing burnouts/drifts making the rest look bad.

You are already here 2000GT08? How are you liking the city so far?

I attend a meet at the Hooters on 45/1960 at times and will let you know if I roll out there anytime soon. Have you ever taken your car to a track before? Any mods on it?
