MPG and you! All because of gas prices.

I did a test with my stang. Here's how it went.

This was taking the same way to and from work every day, 3:73's. Half of my ride is highway half local.

FP @ 38 PSI = 17.5 MPG
Ran for 2 weeks

FP @ 39 PSI = 17.7 MPG
Ran for 2 weeks

FP @ 40 PSI = 18.2 MPG 222 Miles / 12.2 Gallons
Running now over one week

I got 22-23mpg with mine driving to FL through the hills of TN and AL, a/c on, and loaded with 400lbs of garb.

I got 25 mpg on the way to the 40th show in nashville with the AC No cruiserunning arround 70 -80mph with 3:55's

i wish i drove more highway but I dont right now. Thinking of getting some 15" prostars and getting taller tires to drop me few 100 RPMS

prostars should help alone... due to the reduced rotating mass.

its not the rpms that eat the gas mileage its the amount of fuel consumed.... alot of peopel dont realize depending on yoru setup at a higher pm your car might need less throttle to provide the givin hp required to maintain the speed of 70

100 rpms isnt going to make a difference
