I have an mustang gt with the MPH mongoose kit and MPH boost pipe. Right now on a 93 octane tune it is putting down 360 whp and 355 wtq. Does anybody know how much power the blower cams from MPH will put me at because I'm shooting for the 400 whp mark.

Thanks

What other mods do you have. You might want to think about stage II heads also.

I'm running the v1 s trim mongoose kit with boost pipe. BBK 75mm throttle body and intake plenum. Custom made x-pipe and flowmaster cat back. I still have stock internals so I'm not trying to go over 400 whp but would like to reach 400.

talk to Tim at MPH, stage 1 or 2 blower cams will work just fine with stock heads since your forcing the air in there anyways.

how much boost are you running? If its the stock pulley you are probably peaking at 7# like myself.

The blower cams add a considerable amount of power depending on the tune of course, id say maybe 25-45hp, like i said it all depends on the tune and how much boost your running yada yada

I don't have a boost gauge so I don't know the exact amount of boost I'm running but the guys that tuned my car as well as myself agreed that it is about 8.5-9 lbs. I'm trying to run about 400 whp and at least run low 12's if not high 11's. My best time, and only time at the track on DOT slicks, was 12.8 with an extra person in the car and I'm sure I can cut that down to 12.65 or so without a passenger. Running 3.73 gears instead of the stock 3.27 gears should also knock off 2-3 tenths I think.

If you dont have a built rear end or tranny you are going to blow them up running slicks.

The best thing would to pulley down to a 3.33 or even a 3.0 and push it through an intercooler. This would give you 400hp, be safe, cheaper, etc.

You can hit 400 with a 3.33" pulley and some long tube headers alone. I hit 400hp/tq with a best pull of 423/408 hp/tq on that exact setup (tb/plenum, catback, and o/r pipe also).

First off, what year is your car? Plus you dont need blower cams to hit 400. I'm at 405rwhp. I have headers, 3.2 pulley, and an intercooler over what you have. You can do it without cams.

Spederman, how much boost did you lose through the intercooler and headers because I'm running about 8.5 psi with 3.6" pulley and MPH boost pipe. And the year of my car is 02'.
