MSD Billet Distributor

Hi, has anyone tried the MSD Billet Distributor. I'm looking to put one in to replace OEM in my stock 93 LX 5.0... is the replacement as simple as unplug, pull old with # 1 piston at TDC and rotor at #1 and dropping the MSD in?.
