My buddy just sold his 87 GT mustang and he had a new MSD Pro Billet Distributor and coil on it which he may have put 1,000 miles on. He said i can have them both..But will they work on my car?

It's not the same thing. I'm pretty sure they aren't compatible.

not sure how aftermarket dizzies are, but stock fox dizzies have the TFI on the dizzy itself, as opposed to the fender. one could work around that (from what i have been reading/researching, one can procure a harness from a van which can allow a fox to remotely mount the TFI).

:OT: John congrats on graduating! We were down at the TCC on Fri - what a zoo. LOL. (did not go on Sat).

Yeah the ignition module is mounted on the distributor unlike ours where it is on the fender. I think it would be more trouble than it is worth to make it work.

try calling MSD. They may actually answer your question.

And in the meantime grab hold of it... worst case sell it and split the $$.
