msd hookup

i am putting a msd 6al in my stang, i already have the msd boost retard box that came with the vortech. my queastion is what order should i hook it up? computer - msd - boostretard - coil? or computer - boostretard - msd - coil?
also what gap do you guys recomend? running 12 pounds of boost, thanks
