MSD Multi spark ignition.

I currently have an electronic ignition distributor on my stroked 347 in my 65 coupe. A few people have suggested that i should wire in the MSD box that would give me multispark ignition. Is there much of a performance gain for adding this multi spark or any other benifits? thanks

not much gain to be had over a properly functioning electronic ignition. If you need a programmable spark retard, rev limiter, etc, then a MSD or other type of box is needed. Most people don't need that stuff, but seem to enjoy blowing money on it anyway.
