which is a good msd to get.... and if you get the module do u need to get the dist and coil also??

For just your basic aftermarket ignition I would get the 6AL. If you want to spend a little more and get more options I would go with the Digital 6 Plus. If you are going with the ignition you might as well get the hotter coil for the extra $40.00 since the stock one is weak compared to the aftermarket ones.

just out of curiousity what do u run ur 1/4 in??? it appears we have similar mods to our cars. appreciate the help and will check the rockers tomorrow.

Well I have no idea what the new motor runs in the 1/4 since all it has seen was the 1/8th. In the 1/8th it runs in the 7.80's at 88mph and that was with the motor being fairly fresh and running rich as hell. The old motor with the stock short block with the same heads and intake ran a best of 12.80's in the 1/4 but had improved drastically on the 1/8th times so it would have been closer to a 12.50 or so if it were on a 1/4 track. With the new program on the chip and the car running leaner it should be in the 7.60's or so in the 1/8 hopefully.
