Ok, so i've developed a hearing problem in my right ear and am starting to lose my hearing in it. to avoid further damage, i need to change out my exhaust. most of you know im running the MT.com o/r xpipe and 2 chamber 40 series Flowmasters. I want to keep the xpipe on the car but need to quiet it down a tad and get rid of the drone. are magnapacks quiet enough when you stay out of the gas and do they have any drone issues?? i know they're loud as f uck at WOT which is really what im after now; quiet at idle and cruising, but loud as satan at WOT.

any other suggestions??

F'k, a friend of mine just got the packs with UPR O/R X, but Im out of town so I cant get ahold of him. Hes on SN as DSG40thGT, but rarely stops by. Same name over on MX.com where he posts quite a bit. You could ask him how they are. When I ehard them from outside the car they were loud as F'k.

And if you wouldve taken the dick out of your ear a long time ago, you wouldnt have this problem now

jk man, good luck with it

If you are looking for a quiet catback than I would get the Dynomax
Superturbo catback.Plus it is still a straight through design muffler so,
you will gain a few ponies coming from a Flowmaster catback.
Sorry to hear you are having hearing problems.

If they're anything like the Stingers, they'll be loud as f'k when you're cruising. Those bastards are LOUD when WOT and still pretty damn loud when cruising. Hurts my ears sometimes, actually... my O/R Prochamber and 2-chamber 40 series flowmasters don't hurt my ears, with all the drone haha

If your gonna keep the off road pipe, I'd go with the regular Magnaflows. With 'Packs and an off road pipe, you'll sound like the concession stand at the movie theatre. Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop.
