Mustang II Bell

I am looking at possible picking up a c4 trans pretty cheap if i was to drop my RAD 4 speed could i use the same bell for the c4 and would i need a differn't drive shaft? also any problems withe the hedman headears or super comps clearing the c4 iam kinda getting lazy with the clutch at cruise night traffic backups and such and was just tossing the idea.

Are you asking if you can use the RAD 4 bellhousing with the C4 or the standard C4 bellhousing. RAD 4 no, standard C4 with the use of a BFH it will fit. No problems with the headers as long as you use the small C4 bellhousing made specifically for the II.

thanks for the info are the small bells made for the II still available anywhere and sorry but what is BFH?

Only place you'll find them is eBay or a scrap yard, BFH = Big Fxxxin Hammer.

from experience.........

Get the small bellhousing. Big one is a pain (I've done it).

I have an x-tra bell if you are interested? The flexplates are still available.

There's a flexplate on eBay now at $10.
