Mustang leaking water from exhaust

If it's only during the first few minutes of cold start up.....don't worry about it, it's only condensation. If it's still doing it after a drive where the car has been fully warmed up, then I might worry about a head gasket problem.

Stick your finger in the water and taste it. If it's sweet, I'd start preparing to tear the engine down. :(

sweet like antifreeze? Do yo uwant to taste that hehe?

Remember chemistry class? Combustion of hydrocarbons (CxHy) generates carbon dioxide and water vapor. There is humidity in the incoming air, too, but it is small compared to the water of combustion.

The water vapor condenses in the cold exhaust piping, just like a frosty beer mug sweats in the humid summer months. If you don't drive long enough for the piping to get hot (short trips), then it is completely normal to have water dribble out of the exhaust, usually at the intermediate and cat-back joint(s).
