Can anyone recommend a good manual (Haynes, Chilton, etc) for my '00 GT?
I'm not a mechanic but I would like to have a manual for general information (like removing OE headlights and replacing with my new smoked units).
I "Googled" but all I could find were manuals for older Mustangs ('98 and older).
Thanks.

Don

I use a Haynes and Chiltons...both are similar. They cover 94-04 for the most part. I also picked up a Ford repair CD from a friend who works at Ford. You can get copies on ebay for like $10

The Ford/Motorcraft service manuals are good. Another option is to get a subscription to the Alldata online manuals. They are constantly updated to reflect the latest information. Stay away from the Haynes/Chilton manuals, they are full of wrong information. Another option, if you can get your hands on them are the Helm and Oasis manuals.

I have used Alldata for a while now, and it is very comprehensive. The only thing I wish they would do is allow a specific search for a specific diagram number or something like a circuit or connector number. Other than that, it's great and has saved the day for me with lots of cars.
