Mustang PBR Caliper Piston Dustboot Melted

I thought I would provide some more evidence to everyone that the stock brakes on the Mustang Mach 1's and Cobra's are inadequate to get on the track with. Here are some pics of the front left caliper on my Mach 1 after 1 day at Road Atlanta (and it was a very light day). Notice the dustboots around the pistons:

I don't even want to bother with a rebuild as I can see this happening time and time again. Now it's time for me to shop for an upgraded caliper...

ya i have that one too. but this one allows you to do them much faster. like under 30 seconds.

the tool is about $225. if you have ever seen really long endurance racing or Aussie V8, watch the pitstops. they change out the pads on some of the stops, this is a lot easier to use.
