i was looking at their rim selection the other day and noticed that all the pictures swapped out to different center caps. i was just curious about who exactly makes the rim? well just on the saleen replicas because i plan on ordering them in a few weeks and wasnt quite sure who exactly made the rims that they are distributing out?

I dunno who makes them but a few of my friends have bought wheels from that place and they have been really good quality so far

they have a good quality rim....I'm on my second set....they put their own centercap in now....just started a month or so back...I believe most of the aftermarket 'replica' rims are very similar in quality...none are quite as good as oem, but it's hard to beat the price

Just bought some DD Bullitts from mustangtuning about a month or so ago.... To be honest the wheels were actually better quality than I was expecting. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised, and will be buying from them again in the future.

yeah i was planning on getting your setup dope 97gt...18x9 up front and 18x10 in the rears...buut i have some bills to get paid so hopefully ill be able to order them when i get my next pay check! when'd you order yours b/c now on their website they have M center caps instead of ZR's?

buuut then i have to wait another two weeks to order some new tires to fit the 18's...these KDW 2's better be worth it!

if you want some kickass tires go with michelins ps2 or pirelli pzero nero or goodyear gs-d3. a little more money but probably the best tire out there (goodyears wear down faster than the other two though) all of them have better wet handling and similar dry traction than the bfg's.. just my 2 cents

i was up in the air on the kdw 2's or the gs-d3's...when i was picking out tires on tirerack.com the performance of the pzero's wasnt as good as the others and i figured theyd be a lot more b/c they were pirelli's...the ps2's were EXTREMELY expensive on tirerack so i dont think those are an option even though they seem to be the best tire tirerack has to offer. id be saving 400+ going kdw 2's compared to the ps2's which has plenum/tb combo written all over it!

i like the tread of the kdw 2's over the gs-d3's, id be saving 200 bucks going that route, and they perform pretty much the same in wet/dry conditions on tirerack so hopefully theyll pay off!

thanks for the advice though 97sally6, i thought about getting all four of those tires and just figured for performance and price the kdw 2's were the best bang for the buck

The rims are the same manufacturer of all other peoples replica wheels. MT just puts their own fugly center caps on them.

Very few vendors are selling wheels with snake image center caps currently. Many of the sites still showing pictures of this are not shipping them as they appear. There is a new generic center cap being installed from the factory in the wheels, it is a small red white and blue italic cap. I do not have any images, but all I can say is, our "M" cap is much better looking. If it wasn't, we wouldn't take the time to preinstall them in each wheel in place of the red/white/blue italic cap.

Centercaps make or break the wheel... and agreed, that the new Mustang Tuning caps looks retarded. Stick with Ford centercaps
