A little over a week away. Who all is going? This is possibly the best mustang event of the year. We have a house rented and about 10 couples heading down sunday before. If you have never been you should really think about making the trip. It's july 20th-26th. This will actually be our 5th year and every year gets better and better. The stang will have a new look this year, had to be repainted after getting keyed and now she has new wheels. Should be a great week, look forward to seeing some of you there.

My wife and I are heading down tuesday. My mustang is in the body shop getting the stripes painted on instead of the vinyl ones from the factory.

i'll be down sunday-sunday. we have a condo in NMB this year.
my car is getting the finishing touches this sunday. just a little more cleaning and we're ready to go.
my buddy and his girl will be staying with us with his silver 03 cobra. it's gonna be cool to have 2 cars that are similar looking parked outside the condo. i'll be taking the bike down too for a change up if i get tired of the stang!

I'll be there the whole week with the Cobra. Got a place to stay for free; friend's sister lives there.

My car MIGHT be ready for next year's week.

A full respray (with a lot of shaving), MM max grip package, wheels, brakes, audio system, etc. all would need to occur before I come out there with it.

It's going to be a great week, only 7 days till wee hit the road. It's like mustang heaven down there. Can't wait.

I wont be attending. Its sucks because it's one hell of an event and I am relatively closer than most other people in the US.

Hopefully by next summer, if things work out, Ill be down here permanently

BTW do you know any good detail guys to clean my car once i get down there. i'm not too much on cleaning. i'd rather be relaxing on the beach!!

Yes, two actually.

You may know one of them... Victor, he is a friend of Tommy's (the guy who got the intake for his GTO off you). The other one is also in our local Mustang group, his name is Mike.

Both do excellent work.

if you talk to them can you get a quote for an exterior detail on tuesday and then a clean up on friday morning again?

i really HATE cleaning.

BTW we will be down on sunday. if you're off work any during the week PM me you number and we'll meet up sometime!

Yeah I will try to get up with them and see if they can do anything. They will both be participating in the MW events and may be pressed for time, but I'll see if they can do anything.

Not sure about my schedule yet, but I'll shoot you a PM when I hear back from them. Maybe we can get up sometime during the coming week.

Can' t wait, I leave out tomorrow and will be there till next thursday. It sucks I'am going to miss the car show on friday and the cruise in on saturday, but I will get to make it this year and it will be my first. Safe trips for everyone who is traveling.

You haven't heard of Mustang Week? It's in Myrtle Beach SC. Probably the single best week for mustangs on the East Coast. It's a whole week of nothing but stangs and every year it gets bigger and better. Check out the site, Mustangweek.com. This year the SVTOA's "Experience IV" Nationals will also be going on. Should be a great time, can't wait.
