Hello everyone I have an 1989 mustang LX, 4 cylinder . And it won’t start. I’ve replaced the ignition switch, I’ve put new spark plus , a distributor , a starter , a ignition coil, and new battery cables as well as new plugs and wires . Still no start. I’ve got a new fuel pump, I dropped the gas tank and cleaned that out as well... any ideas ????

I had to replace fuel injectors on mine when it had a crank no start situation, they were simply too clogged to flow any fuel.

With that being said, it would be better to have more information before you throw any more parts at it.
#1 - Was the car running and starting previously? When did this no start situation first occur?
Have you verified that the fuel pump is turning on?
Have you verified that you have spark?

If you have fuel and spark, it should run.

So, pull a plug and attach it to the wire and ground it out. Crank the car with a helper and verify that you have spark. Attach a fuel pressure gauge to the schrader valve on the fuel rail and verify that you have fuel pressure. At that point, if you have good spark and good fuel pressure, then I would lean towards injectors.

I am also assuming that this thing is in proper time and you aren't dealing with a broken timing belt.
