Oh Johnny you are going to be very sad once you make that move. kelowna is beautiful and well..... Winnipeg is well..... it's just not Kelowna. I might be moving to Vancouver here pretty quick :D. Only sad thing is I wont have a car :( my beast will not pass air care even with the grace of god at it's side. Makes me sad but I'll make the sacrifice. Somebody will get a deal on my car if that is the case.

WOW, now that was the most helpful post in the history of Stangnet  Notice how you answered EVERY one of my questions? :nonono:

Sure Kelowna has nice weather and scenery, but there is more to life than that. I've lived here for 12 years, and even if I didnt have to make the change for school, its still time for a change.

Oh come on now, what did I tell you already Robert, whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, come and enjoy a prairie winter for a year :D
Although Winnipeg is quite the crap hole, but you can't pass up law school! I thought you were getting in to Saskatoon instead?

edit: and lay off Kevin, he's normally a very helpful dude :nice:

Just be warn you thinking moving to Vancouver....there are very expensive place to live and most highest gas taxes also costlest to live than Regina or Winnpeg. I would move to Ontario instend, that where I lived before.

Just think about it....

Yes, there is a very active club (Manitoba Mustang and Ford Association--MMFA). Check out the www.manitobamustang.com web site for more info. Lots of cruising on Sunday nights, car shows and there are a couple of large cruise-ins that have up to a couple of hundred cars or more on nice summer nights.

As for the winter time... well, let's just say that there is lots of time to work on your car if you have a heated garage. :rlaugh:

 wow you're a dick! LOL didn't your moma ever tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say... DON'T. FYI I told you that because I am pretty damn sure that you are just not going to like Winnipeg. It's a step down in my opinion.

sheesh, calm down Kev, he's going because of school so he'll just have to suck it up for a while, just because YOU hate the prairies so much doesn't mean you gotta bring the rest of us down  If people are too wussy to handle our winters well then sure, get the hell out :D

And Rob isn't a dick, he's a nice dude :nice:

Pardon my french, but **** off. Not one of your posts had anything to do with the questions I asked.
I asked if anyone knew of a mustang scene, or any mustang related websites in Winnipeg. Notice that I didnt ask for a commentary on the city, or your opinion on where I should live. Maybe some reading comprehension classes are in order?

i live in winnipeg and to answer your question ya theres a pretty good mustang scene in winnipeg, alot of car shows, good cruising on sunday nights and the street racing is pretty good if you do that sortta thing, being the praries and all theres lots straight flat stretches to get the car up to top speed :D

Thanks for the reply. I've head something about the sunday night cruises. What area of town are they?

Btw, nice stang :nice:

I live in Winnipeg... sunday night cruise is down Portage. It's a pretty good size crowd. People line the sidewalks with lawnchairs and stuff to watch the cars going by. There's also car shows at places like the Pony Corral.

There are LOTS of stangs around here. I don't know of any clubs (I'll have to check out the MMFA site too) but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a few stang friends if you tried.
