MUSTANGS on the WATERFRONT 7-24-05

We'll be there with my wife's Cobra.

FYI Adam, since you're new to the area, if you're going to go, your shortest route is via the Edmonds/Kingston ferry. We'll be catching the 7:10 out of Edmonds.

Thank you. I actually took the ferry one time before when I went to Port Orchard for a single day job, but that's the only time I've been there, and I wasn't sightseeing, so I didn't get to look around as much as I wanted. Looks like a really nice area.

I think maybe I'll try and catch that same 7:10 ferry as well. :nice:

BTW -- how early should I arrive since it's a weekend?

D@mn. As much as I want to go to this show, I probably will not make it.

I'll be at the Sat show in Vanc. And I have to catch a plane on Mon morning. Making the drive to Port Orchard and back Portalnd wouldn't leave any time to get ready.

I will be there too...taking your pictures as you come in. I will bring my car just to be dyno'd though, not going to put it in the show. Modified class is just too competitive for my car. see you all there!

I was there! LOL. It was a great show, lots of turnout. Wish they didn't have to split it into two different parking lots, but the setting was actually very nice, about the best type of setting they could have picked.

Know who I felt sorry for? The DJ! He was doing his best trying to keep everyone entertained when they had a delay getting the awards ready, but the crowd was just not having any of it! Tough bunch, I suppose.

Plenty of great competition in my grouping. I was lucky enough to take home second in the 2005 group, and fortunate at that. First place went to a nice gentleman who has fearlessly voided his warranty and installed a Vortech blower. He dynoed at 387 at the wheels on their mobile dyno, very impressive for these new cars.

All in all, a great way to spend a Sunday. I'll definitely go back next year. Who else was there and what did you drive? I hope you all had as much fun as I did!

Well I was there today to take your picture as you came in. Once I completed these duties I headed over to the Dyno where I kind of damaged my motor. I made 4 pulls (dyno broke on my second) and did not notice until I was off the dyno I had no oil pressure :( I got the car to the trailer and it was smoking a little so I am sure I damaged a bearing or two...I think the oil pump went out as I had a slight indication at the track last week (fluttering oil pressure). Well I was going to put a 347 in this winter anyway...looks like winter came a little early for me! Although I am bummed this motor had two seasons on it and had been rode hard, so it really comes as no suprise. The car show was a big success and I think the car count was 191. Lots of great cars and weather to boot. BTW, my dyno numbers were around 370 RWHP and thats on a N/A stock block...can't wait for the 347 now :D
