hahahahaha

Cenok, there is one kind of like your top pic here (tucson). the 10 inch Daytons really help with acceleration. :)

I am going to be switching to a 4 way air suspension next may. Currently I have bilstein struts and shocks, and kenny brown springs. I'm going to keep the bilsteins and replace the springs with the airbags. I don't imagine it would add that much weight, and if anything the weight is gonna be in the back where it is needed. I can't believe an 3-6 gallon air tank and air compressor is going to weigh all that much. I am tired of riding hard through these crappy streets downtown. Bottoming out over everything, especially with passengers. -J

Dude, thats just stupid. Who does that and thinks it looks good? Some people in this world have the worse taste and usually its interior design so we dont see it, but when you drive around in a puke green crap-mobile we are forced to share in your pathetic decorating skills. What better way to say to the ladies, "Hey, if you think this is bad? Wait till you see my bedroom with pink and brown fluff walls and glow-in-the-dark He-Man bed sheets." Do yourself a favor and either shoot yourself or the poor cars. I bet those Mustangs break down all the time because they themselves are too embarassed to be seen like that or with you. Maintenance on an ugly Mustang must be a bitch!

Most of the kit's I've seen come with application specific shocks, I don't know that I'd want to be second guessing thier judgment on that. Just my $.02. In the event that you go that route, lemme know- I'd buy your Bil's.
Despite the crap everybody is throwing at the whole concept in here, we can't be throwing the baby out with the bathwater just because people who have no aesthetic taste use air suspensions. Many of the most ass kicking feature cars in HotRod magazine use them too, because they offer the best of both worlds. Superior comfort, and in many cases superior handing at the push of a button over comparably priced conventional spring/shock kits. If I didn't already have so many thousands of dollars invested in my suspension, I'd be going AirRide in a heartbeat.

Air Ride Technologies' 2001 GT Mustang project was displayed at Ford's SEMA booth in Las Vegas. It features a complete AirStrut ™ front suspension and a CoolRide™ rear suspension. So far it has run a best of 12.60 @ 109mph with a 1.48 60 ft. time.

yeah that was the puke green car i was refering to. how the hell could you do that to not one but two ponys? if i knew you personaly i think i would have you comitted. you have to be a tea cup or two short of a full set. but thats just what i think

Don't feel too bad. The other day I saw a gtR mustang. Mad tite with the single chrome tail pipe, raised supension(it had to have been because my 94 coupe was stock and the damn thing had to be at least 3inches taller than my car) big ass GTR emblem on the passanger side of the deck lid. Clear tail lights, chrome wheels and big ass wing.

single chrome tailpipe hahahahaha oh my god "Now thats funny i dont care who you are" :barf:

Dude, we arent talking about Air Suspensions, he was talking about some retard installing hydraulics on a Mustang. Air and hydraulics are 2 totally different concepts, and for the most part, people who use bags are of a little higher class, ie..Troy Trepanier, Air Rides, Boyds and so on.

I scanned it in and tried various ways of posting/sending it, but can't seem to make it work. It's a bit disappointing though, not much to it. You aren't missing much, it isn't really even an article, more of an afterthought.

Well below is the car that the air suspension would go on. I have researched air suspension kits for over a year now. I would like to go with the air struts in the front, but they are way to pricey ( $999 from air ride tech.) I also was informed that while they are a direct bolt on the ride is a little harsher than with an air bag up front. The cheapest yet decent kit I have priced out has been around $1200-1300. That is with a upgraded compressor, and digital gauges. They also told me with the air bags you could retain your stock shocks, and the bilsteins would be even better. It sounds like a lot of money to do this, and a lot of people wouldnt or refuse to understand. I spent $800 on my bilsteins, and kenny brown springs installed, and that was with my friends hookup. To each his own. I have been driving a stang now for 7 years, and right now with this suspension going down town is horrible. The tires dont keep in contact with the road, it's to low and my exhaust scraps over everything, front bumper just got repainted yesterday from it bottoming out and cracking coming out of a driveway. I want something better, and air suspension seems the best solution for my problems. -J

Man, your car is beautiful unlike these fugly hydro cars, but why not put the dough into a tubular front end and coilovers, improve the steering geometry, lose some car weight in the process instead of adding more weight while retaining the same steering geometry? To each his own though and your car is sick.:hail2:
