while looking for a new midpipe on ebay, i came across mustangsunlimited.

they have this h-pipe

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1994...ategoryZ6763QQihZ003QQitemZ130112614601QQrdZ1

i emailed them and they said there made locally and its a 2 piece. but the partnumber in the link is 430094V. Macs h-pipe is 430094 so i'm thinking its the same.

anybody buy this h-pipe from them? comments?

i'm worried about bad fitment. the H i have now is leaking really bad where it connects to the header. its bad enough for me not to want to drive it till its fixed.

Yeah I would stay away from it, as well as the summit h-pipe. Get a good one piece h-pipe and be done with it.

I'll defend Summit pipes here. I've had really good luck with them and a few of my friends run them without any problems.

those summit h-pipes are are pacesetters. people have opened up there boxes and found pacesetter stickers inside.

i would rather run the newstyle Mac H-pipe or X-pipe because of its 3 piece design. simply because it will be easier to install/remove and i'll be able to adjust it.

i have had good luck with my MAC catback and unequal 1 5/8 headers. i'm going to give Mustang2race a call from www.dsr3.com. i bought my catback from him for the best price around

thanks guys

i personally like the sound quality of an x-pipe over an h-pipe. if you want inexpensive get a jegs offroad xpipe. its like 165 bucks. i got one on my car, no fitment problems what so ever, sound is good and made a huge difference over the stock hpipe. if you want top end go with bassani or dr gas. when i put longtubes on im going with a dr gas x-pipe and spintech mufflers. that exhaust combo is the most wicked sound on any mustangs ive ever heard.

I bought a flow-tech H-pipe because my mac was leaking very very bad. I must say that the flow-tech pipe completely changed the sound of the exhaust. It sounds freakin awesome now. The mac pipe mase it sound tingy. The new one sounds deep and rich. It doesn't even sound like the normal flowmaster sound, it's a deeper sound without the breaking up at higher rpms.
