Why do you often see Camaro spelled Camero but you never see Mustang spelled Musteng?

How come the further away the parts store, the higher the chance you ordered the wrong part?

I know. I just thought it was funny. Someone on a gun forum posted a thread about which muscle car to get. There were several (as in more than one) replies for a "Camero". Me and another person posted "Mustang".

Now that I think about it, I saw "Mustaing" once ... the worst part ..?? It was a windshield decal.
