I finally went to the track to test myself and my car in the 1/4 mi. I'm sorry to say that I did not do very good. But it was my first time. My 60' times were pretty bad but consistent. Anyway I made 3 passes.
1. 14.272 (2.162 60') & I won (I forgot to turn off T/C :bang: )
2. 14.180 (2.126 60') & I lost
3. 14.780 (2.169 60') & I lost (horrible wheel spin for all of 1st gear) :nonono: .

But from the modifications (performance) on the car I was expecting much much much lower ET's. I did a quick burn on the first two runs and no burn on the 3rd run. I just walked the car out on the first run and clocked the 14.272. On the second pass I tached up to 2000 rpms and dumped the clutch and I clocked my best time (14.180). On the 3rd I didn't do a burn and got a 14.78 :notnice: . So I'm here to ask for help and advise.

You really aren't that far off. With your mods, you should be in the high 13's and you ran a low 14. How are you launching?? What RPM, Are you slipping the clutch?? Dumping the clutch???? We could help you out a lot more if you told us what you did during your launch??? Also, do you granny shift????? There are several factors that go into it.

First off congrats on finally going to the track...im sure u enjoyed it!!!! Any way our cars suck as far as traction is concerned...if i were you I would try to get a set of drag radials and a set of lower control arms...that will definetly get your 60ft's down and you wont spin as much. Put if your really going to get serious I would skip the drag radials and get a extra set of wheels and mount some ET streets and you definetly will hook up and cut your 60's below 2.0 no prob! :nice:
Hope this helps ya out
