my 5.0 coupe

I took my 5.0 to a local mechanic here in town and he told me my car loses spark when its running at regular temp. Can that happen? My car went into shop cause it would sputter and back fire out rear when at normal temp

he states it might be the module on distributor or the coil cause he check gas pressure, timing all is good

also he told me that solenoid was staying stuck when car was turned on had same issue on a 1990 GT I had but never solved issue any help on this will be helpful

I think you need a new mechanic. Sounds like he's guessing.

First thing i'd do is pull the codes. For an issue like that, i'd bet there's a code stored.
