Knocked the dust off wirh some recent shows, motor is still running really well, but some new rear end gears may be in the future, but of course that will send me down the rabbit hole of rear disc, which will also lead to 5 lug swap and then new wheels...maybe not the near future ?

I tried to fix my ashtray door... then once I failed miserably I decided to go the LMR cupholder route and I'm much happier with it.

Why keep the ash tray? Very few smoke nowadays and even fewer use the ashtray, at least the less dumb ones don't, and that cigar lighter will catch a coin and blow a fuse or you'll spill a beer in it because YOU DON'T HAVE A CUP HOLDER!
Any questions?

But not wedging the big gulp between the seat and e-brake-which ultimately spills all over everything at the tap of the brake pedal- would definitely be a nice , shoulda been stock-but is considered an upgrade-upgrade… Right?

Agreed.
Or the bottle of diet Dew/Pepsi will end up in the back seat or on the floor, and you hope the lid is on because it is now foaming, ready to go like a Mentos tablet was dropped inside, and you’re trying to keep up with traffic and reach behind the seat.
I have my car wash quarters (and other change) in a freezer weight ziplock in the arm rest instead of the ash tray because of the lighter and power socket issue.

How well does it match ? I've seen the grey vary quite a bit.

I painted mine black. I don’t think the gray it’s molded in matches at all. Pretty much assume you will need to paint it

1984-1986 Charcoal Grey
1987-1989 Medium Grey
1990-1992 Titanium Grey
1993 Opal Grey
