'87-93 225 hp @ 4200 RPM; 300 lb-ft @ 3200 RPM
'94-95 215 HP @ 4,200 rpm; 285 ft lb @ 3,400 rpm
'96-97 215 HP @ 4,400 rpm; 285 ft lb @ 3,500 rpm
'98 225 HP @ 4,750 rpm; 290 ft lb @ 3,500 rpm
'99+ 260 HP @ 5,250 rpm; 302 ft lb @ 4,000 rpm
Plus it seems that the more one is modified the higher the HP and TQ rpm tend to be
Generally, a pushrod motor will produce a higher TQ than HP rating, while a modular tends to have either a lower TQ than HP or they both are about equal.
I can go on and explain/post more info/dyno sheets/links/etc but I'm not going to trash this thread with all that.
