OK, i have a 99gt. no mods w 103K miles. I have a check engine light, had it checked at autzone, it came up 141 and 161 codes. These have something to do with the o2 sensors not heating up, dude at autozone said to check fuses and make sure there are none blown. Are the o2 sensors fused? Ive never head of this before. Anyway, I checked the fuses in the box under the hood, they looked all good. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks,

There are two fuse boxes, check the other one.

If you cannot find any blown fuses which is likely because an AutoZone employee is usually wrong then you could try resetting the PCM and hope the code does not come back.

You can also search this forum for "P0141" and "P0161" (those are zeros, not the letter O)

Not sure what the P0161 is, but I know the P0141 is O2 related. Did the guy at autozone tell you which bank and which sensor? If its B1S2 or B2S2, it isnt related to your starting problem. If its B1S1 or B2S1, I'd throw an O2 sensor in it, disconnect the battery for about half an hour, and go drive it and see if that solves your problem. Theres isnt a whole lot else you can do besides just replacing it without have a scanner to watch the datalist and monitor the O2's.

P0161 is related to a downstream O2 sensor.

No mods, except for a CAI. The scanner showed both a p0141 and a p0161 code. The codes did say O2 heater bank 1 and bank 2, which would make a blown fuse seem to make sense. What if I installed some MIL eliminators? I was thinking about installing an h-pipe and flowmasters later anyway. Thanks for the help all!
