i just installed an air fuel ratin gauge. when i start the car its pegged on lean. the red light is very dim until i rev the engine then it gets bright. if i mash the throttle is lights up 1 or 2 more leds but is still in the red (lean). the car was recently tuned and the a/f i know is fine. could i have bad 02 sensors?

its a narrow band that taps into the o2 sensor return signal wire

IMO narrow bands are pretty much worthless. are your A/F's good while driving? if so, I wouldn't worry about. I would definently invest in a good wideband though, so you always know exactly what is going on with the a/f ratio's. just my .02
is 55lb idle with the vac line unplugged? is that where the tuner set it? if it is I wouldn't mess with it, although it sounds a little high to me, especially if that is the base pressure.

Absolutely useless, no ifs, ands or buts. You need a WB controller and O2 sensors if you intend to see and/or need any useful AFR values.

I think thats definitely causing some problems, cause if its 55 at idle its probably @ 65 under boost, and injectors dont atomize the fuel properly at that much pressure. I bet it would run way way better with like 55lbs injectors set at 42 psi, haha

I don't think so. is the ECM trowing any codes? if an 02sensor was bad you would get a code.
