Heh. I weigh in at 208. although I am in between a fatbody and a bean pole.

I need to start lifting again. My arms are getting to look like jello jigglers. As for running, the best I could ever manage was a sustained 7 min mile. Since I am a bit taller than the average person. It looks like a lope instead of a run.

get me in some water though and Its a differant story. 14 min mile

I was very happy with the time I have never ran a mile in the time before in fact I used to not even be able to run a mile before. all the running I have been doing sure payed off. I run once a week right now, when summer hits I plan on stepping that up more. I still need to loose some body fat but I have improved a hundred fold over last year the abs are showing again but still need to define them more I do not want to drop below 220lbs.
whenever you want to work out let me know my ribs are still a little sore but not to the point of hindering my work outs to much so lets do it

My swim was when I qualified for bodyguard at the PSU pool, I did the 500 meters in 12m20s. As far as run, F that, aint never gonna run more than 3 miles in my life again. Ran lots of 10-15 miles with full gear!

I swam for 4 years in high school. I should of swam college but I didnt like to go to school so my grades were crap

I went through the pararescue school while in the service. I did not make it all the way through. Since my priorities changed (got married).

that was the extent of my running career. I have always ran like I am pounding the ground with my feet, opposed to lightly skipping across the ground. I really need to get back into shape. Its been two years since I have worked out in any serious way. My arms are small now , and my chest looks like a 9 year old girls.

I started working out again a couple of weeks ago, but right now I am in the stage where my muscles get sore, and I keep telling myself that I will work out tommorow when They dont hurt as much. Well that keeps going for 4 days or so

I am not feeling to bad today, so I might go pound some more pavement and lift again.

What was it about anyways?

hungrymonkey, just take it easy, go to the gym as often as you can because the reward is how good you feel when you go back home all sore. Also stick with big compound movements and excercises, leave the sissy crap for wimin.

I pounded out a few miles this morning before the wife woke up. I didnt really get to lift like I wanted to.

I miss the days of a six pack, and muscle definition. Now its a mono pack.

I am not weak by any means, Just not as strong as I could be.

I basically am an ant in the physics fact i guess lol. The part of getting a rush doing a deadlift is incredible, its like being high, drunk, and gettin laid at the same time.

Ed, if you run out of breath during those activities, you need to quit smoking or you're too old to be doing them in the first place.

Hec I was out of breath by the time I finished reading it, although one at a time i'd probably be ok, and your never to old to do the most exciting one and to me a cigarette is the frosting on the cake, I think I cant really remember
