OK, finally got around to re-wiring my ignition this afternoon. It's a beautiful day, I was hoping to get in some driving :(

Got everything hooked up, checked and double checked, and turned the key. She started right up and runs okay, except for a little noise that seems to be coming out of the drivers side pipe that sounds like a cough. Moving around to the engine bay I can hear something that sounds disturbingly like a slight knocking noise coming from the drivers side bank, probably the 1st or 2nd cylinder. Sound was worrying me so I shut her down after about a minute or two.

Any ideas?

SOUND LIKE A LOOSE SPARK PLUG OR A LEAKING HEADER OR MANIFOLD GASKET. THE KNOCKING I'M NOT SURE COULD BE PISTON SLAP. MY MOTOR HAS A SLIGHT KNOCK OR BUMP WHEN IDLEING BUT WHEN A LITTLE THROTTLE IS APPLIED IT'S NOT THERE ANY MORE, SO I DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT.
