well i picked up my cobra engine last night along with my viper spec t56. the engine is complete from intake to oil pan. it looks like everything is in good shape with no fire damage except to the wiring harness. i have started tearing it down while i was at work today. the heads will be going to a machine shop to make sure they are not warped. i need one of the coil covers, but other than that the engine was complete. anyways heres what i ended up getting

Engine specs
Manley Billet rods and pistons
Cobra crank
cryo oil pump
Canton oil pan
ported 01 cobra heads with stock cams
upgraded valve springs
GI Joe 8 rib kit
Innovators West 10% overdrive crank pulley
ENGINE IS GOOD FOR OVER 900 rwhp

Viper Spec T56 tranny
aluminum drive shaft aliminum flywheel
Spec stage 3 clutch

TOTAL PRICE FOR THE TRANS WAS $2000

TOTAL FOR THE ENGINE WAS $1500

now my car is a GT Saleen Cobra Viper!! it wont know what to think anymore!!

Haha nice! Keep us posted how the swap goes. I'd like to do that swap myself someday, the 6spd included.

25 psi? Thats sick man... just don't forget that with ported heads, your boost will decrease, but you will still be making more power w/ that specific pulley than you would with unported heads + that pulley size. OMG thats gonna nasty

it was in a 01 cobra that had a small fire. the engine and everything else was fine, but the car was totaled. i bought both the engine and tranny so i got a better deal. it does need a set of valve covers or at least have the old ones powder coated.

Are you complaining about something that costs about $150 for chrome ones?

ill say around 275 if im lucky . Then it should automatically spray a 200 shot everytime I go WOT....cool feature of this new system is that it doesnt require any bottle fills!

Darn Jegs screwed me over...needed VHT primer to go on before the ceremic VHT stuff...well order placed on 9-21-06. STILL NOT HERE! Called them up a minute ago to see whats up, and well "oh they are on backorder....wont be in for another 2 weeks for the light grey. We have dark grey instock though would you like that."
YEA THANKS FOR CALLING AND EMAILING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Car would have been done maybe this Sunday, but thanks to them it wont be till next week. Summit would have emailed me, and have before if something is on backorder....Jegs sucks, they wont be getting my buisness anymore. + they charge more for handling, and some random $2 delivery charge. Wish summitt stocked the stuff

Yea im a bit ticked right now LOL. Can you tell?

Get the ones that came with the engine color matched to the silver of your car...that would be SICK!
