After I changed the oil this last time, it developed a slight knock in the bottom end. I can hear it really good if I hold the rpm's at 2200. Oh well, 9.5 yrs and 160,000 miles isn't to bad for a motor I guess. So now I am looking for a shortblock or forged rotating assembly to stick in my block once its machined. This is what I am considering.

Diamond 15cc pistons with valve reliefs
Manley rods
Cobra crank
ARP mainstuds
ARP headstuds
FRPP high volume oil pump
Clevite or Federal Mogul bearings

I am thinking about getting the SCAT or Modmax rods. The SCAT's use a 7/16" rod bolt versus 3/8" on the Manley.
