In addition to not fixing my car, the dealership has infected the interior with a nasty stench that I can't seem to get rid of. I tried Fabreez for autos, but now I can just smell the Fabreez on top of the sweat/body odor/grease that was already lingering. Airing it out hasn't done the trick.

What do you guys use that works well?

Steam clean the carpet (and the seats if they're cloth).

Wow!

How funky do you have to be to leave that much stink permiating the interior for that long? I would take it back and try to find someone who gives a **** and show them if it hasnt been too long since you were there.

But I imagin that if the dealer has nasty ass people like that working on custumer cars it will do no good to go back. I have a large manuer spreader you pull behind a tractor, it would be good to make a couple passes through the dealership, and cover the place with BS!

Just my thoughts.

Griot's Garage sells a product called Stinky-Be-Gone. I have not used it, but most of their products are pretty good. They are at griotsgarage.com

If all the above suggestions don't work, try a detail shop that has a de-ionizer. Used car dealers use these in cars to remove smoke smell etc with good results.

A box of baking soda works wonders as does OZIUM spray.

Yep. I used to think that was one of the funniest episodes in the whole series.

Now that it's actually happened...

Someone on another board pointed out this nifty little product, so I'm going to give it a try.
