My custom trans crossmember...

In my attempt to swap my 91 engine/trans into my 80 shell... there have been many problems..

my last problem was the trans crossmember was interfering with the transmission pan itself... and the transmission mount was about an inch or two behind the crossmember... so it needed to be modified.. also, the transmission crossmember to frame mount was about 2 inches shorter on the 80... so i had a friend of mine modify my stock one and make it work... it may not look pretty... but it fits perfect and functions well..

If it works thats all that matters. It really dont look bad.

I think I might be the only person to swap an efi 5.0/aod into an 80 ghia.... well at least i felt like it with trying to find out about what would and wouldn't fit....
